house of bricks reflection

hi I was meant to do this post quite a while ago so I am doing It now Here is my doc

My favourite Lego activity was the cars because it tested my perseverance because the tyres didn't work that well so we made it heavy then it started to work well

My least favourite Lego activity was the kaupeka because we had to share it round other people they built stuff that I didint want them to build

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was the cars because the car's tiers weren't working well and we tested it when we connected the tyres together and it didint even go down the ramp

The most challenging activity was the mosaics because I had to undo the small Pisces and it hurt my finger making the bits of the remover thingy

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because it is a bit easier doing it together

persuasive writing

hi and welcome I am doing another persuasive writing I hope you like my learning.

Do not litter

Everyone must stop littering now because it is killing whales and dolphins and lots of other animals. They think it is food so they end up eating lots of it and eventually they die.

Do you want planet earth to be smelly and destroyed for your children and grandchildren?

Do you think dolphins and whales deserve to die?

If everyone starts turning plastic and recycling into cool sculptures, playground and lots of other stuff the world will be clean and the dolphins and whales will be safe.

persuasive text

hi and welcome to my blog today I am going to show you my writing about not banning junk food from school I hope you like it.

We should not ban junk food because students can be good so they can get a

treat at least once a week so you can keep healthy and have sugar every week or so.

How would you feel if you did a lot of chores and they gave you vegetables as a reward? I would feel like I wouldn't do any chores ever again.

Sugar can help you after you have done a marathon or an iron man race because it helps replace the energy you have lost.

When you are feeling sad it is good to have a little treat in your lunchbox so you have a brighter day.

Umbrella

Hi I am going to show you my writing of Umbrella. This is a short film about empathy. It is a story about a boy in an orphanage and a young girl. I hope you like it.

Umbrella

Just before darkness fell, the door to Miss Elem’s Home For Children opened wide. The girl with the sunflower yellow umbrella nervously entered the orphanage before finding a home for her umbrella. not wanting to be seen, Jacob zoomed his head around the door frame so that he was hidden from view. Standing off to the side the girl scanned the joyful scene as the children searched in the box for hidden treasures. The girl smiled as she watched the young boy racing around like a floating sheep. Her smile slowly vanished as she looked back at the umbrella stand and all she saw were puddles. Her favourite umbrella had disappeared.

can you find a simile in my writing ?

Town trip recount

Hi and welcome back to my blog today I am going to show you my town trip recount from when we went to Margret Mahy I hope you like it

Margaret Mahy trip

Margaret Mahy playground 20th of may 2021. We walked around the mats and the briks were placed the other way round. In the waka when we were doing the last lap we sang e minaka ana. At Margaret Mahy we went around in a circle trying to find different symbols on the circle then we gotta draw the symbols. At Victoria Square we got to explore the park. There was lots of stuff.

My favourite part of the trip was the waka because we got to go in a boat and I like boats especially ones that have oars that can fit multiple people in because I have never been in a boat like that.

Something I learnt was that Victoria Square used to be a marketplace and that eels don't know what gender they are until they are 10 years old. The bricks at the patterns were turned to be on their side so that they look really small and if there is an earthquake they can take it out.

The thing I found the most interesting was Victoria Square because there was lots of stuff. My favourite thing was the water fountains but there was lots of cool stuff like the telephone box , the statues and the Moari Poe.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because there was lots of stuff to look at. I think that Victoria Square has a lot of stuff to put in my PBL book because there is a lot of stuff at Victoria park.
