ANZAC
I made Anzac biscuits with my Mum and brother Leo. They tasted yummy and they were easy to make because we followed a recipe and we were all doing it.
I also helped make some poppies out of New World shopping bags for our teddy bear display which we had in the front garden on Anzac Day. We also had the last post playing off a speaker, everyone who walked past stopped and looked at it. Bear was standing behind the poppies as a soldier.

Hi Ollie,
ReplyDeleteGosh, you have done some really lovely things for ANZAC Day. Your biscuit sure do look crispy and delicious. Do you have any left?
What a great idea putting the poppies around the teddy bear and playing the last post. I bet it made everyone who walked past have a smile on their face. Where did you find the information on how to make shopping bag poppies?
Hi Ollie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the pictures of your teddy, things make a lot more sense now. What a fantastic idea to dress your teddy up in different costumes, I bet your neighbours were really intrigued. The poppies look lovely too. Did you have any passers by take photos of your teddy?
I agree with Michelle, those biscuits look yummy. Keep up the good work.
